Shortcuts in Run
Majority of Run's functionality and options are accessible via keyboard shortcuts that will provide both comfortable use and speed up your navigation through Run. There are some general shortcuts that are the same throughout Run, and some that are used only within specific functionality.
General shortcuts applicable to all windows in Run (except for the Main Run Display):
- Submit - Alt+S. Submitts the data in the form to the database.
- Wipe - Alt+W. Clears all the data from the form.
- Close - Alt+C. Closes the window in focus.
Specific shortcuts for completing a specific task in Run:
- Log a Run - Alt+L Opens a form to log your run (available from the main Run display window).
- Pace Calculator - Alt+P. - Opens the Pace Calculator (available from the main Run display window).
- Calculate Pace - Alt+P. Calculates the pace and speed after providing total time and distance of your run to the Pace Calculator.
- Calculate Time - Alt+T. Calculates the goal time and speed after providing pace per kilometer and distance of your run to the Pace Calculator.
- Splits - Alt+S. Access the Splits Calculator.
- Pace - Alt+P. Switch from the Splits to Pace Calculator (available within Splits section of the Pace Calculator).
- Shoe Management - Alt+S. Opens the Shoe Management (available from the main Run display window).
- View Active Shoes - Alt+A. View all your active shoes in the Shoe Management.
- View Retired Shoes - Alt+R. View all your retired shoes in the Shoe Management.
- Add New Shoe - Alt+N. Add a new shoe in the Shoe Management.
- Refresh - Alt+R. Refresh data display of the main Run display window.
- Logout - Alt+Q. Logout from Run (available from the main Run display window).
- Display - Alt+D. After selecting the time period and shoes you used during the selected period, use this shortcut to view the desired data (available from the main Run display window).
You do not have to memorize all of the shortcuts as you will be reminded of the correct key combinations in two ways:
- thorugh pop-up tips when you pause your mouse over a link for a short period of time and
- by underlined letters in words of links which provide hints to which letter to use with the Alt key to access the desired functionality.
This does not apply to the shortcuts associated with the form buttons such as are "Submit", "Wipe" and "Display".
